The London Eye formally the Millennium wheel first opened in March 2000. Since then the London Eye has not only become one of London’s most iconic landmarks but is also one of London’s most popular tourist attractions.

This breathtaking feat of engineering and design offers one of the most spectacular views in the London. On a clear day passengers are able to see around 40KM (25 miles) from the top, as far as Windsor Castle. The London Eye is in prime position on London’s South Bank between Westminster and Hungerford bridges directly opposite Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

Each glass capsule holds up to 25 people and each of you are provided with a gently paced 30 minute ride reaching a height of 135m. The London Eye can carry 800 passengers per revolution – equivalent to 11 London red doubled-decker buses!

Fancy something different. why not try a night flight and see the magical views of London by night. The London Eye is open until 9pm during the summer and until 9.30pm in July and August.

The ever popular London Eye sees 3.5million passengers each year , to avoid the sometimes daunting queues it is highly recommended that you make your London Eye booking in advance.

Why not finish your experience by visiting the Zen Cafe inside County Hall with great views of the London Eye. Why not pass by the gift shop before your flight to pick up you own mini in-flight guide and other souvenirs.
