Leeds Castle
In the heart of Kent, this stunning castle sits on two islands on the River Len, where it is surrounded by 500 acres of idyllic parkland. Not only beautiful, this castle is full of interesting history after it has spent over 900 years home to royalty and lords including Henry VIII.  

Canterbury Cathedral
As one of the oldest and famous Christian structures in Britain, this magnificent cathedral has sat in the medieval city of Canterbury since it was rebuilt in the 11th century.  This impressive place has had 104 archbishops to date and been part of important events in Christianity’s history in Britain, including the murder of Tomas Becket and the Dissolution of the ministries. 

Lunch
We will stop for lunch near the Cathedral

White Cliffs of Dover
This iconic landscape has played a role in battles since the middle ages including in WW2, but also has been a sight of tourism.  At England’s most famous landscapes we will see Dover Castle, the White Cliffs and the English Channel. 

Greenwich
Originally founded in 1694 as a hospital for navy sailors, the Old Royal Naval College stretches along the South bank of the River Thames.  As well as this we will see the Royal Observatory, which is part of the National Maritime Museum. 

Thames River Cruise
Finally, we will take a charming cruise from Greenwich to the Embankment Pier.  Along the way you will see the stunning views of the Thames riverside.

Greenwich is a world heritage site and is a really unique part of London with some fascinating architecture and historical monuments.

The tour begins at Embankment Pier where you board the luxury Thames Clipper at 5.30pm for departure at 5.40pm. The trip down the Thames to Greenwich takes you past some of London’s monumental landmarks and a complimentary glass of champagne will help you enjoy yourself.

Greenwich is known for the Royal Naval College which dominates the waterfront. It was designed by Sir Christopher Wren and a series of famous architects worked on it until its’ complete in 1751. The Royal Observatory is also located in Greenwich and is the home of Greenwich Mean Time and Prime Meridean Line. It is located in Greenwich Park which you will have a chance to explore as well as having a look at some of the unusual and fascinating shops found in the area.

Your dinner will be in the Bar du Musee a French Bistro in the heart of Greenwich. With its’ relaxing environment, you are sure to enjoy your 3 course meal with a glass of wine.

The journey back to Embankment will give you the opportunity to see London at night where you can enjoy some of the famous floodlit landmarks.

Get to see London at night and in style, as the Showboat passes the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf. Turning back to Westminster, after you have finished your dinner, the music will inspire you to dance. It’s time to really let you hair down!
