WESTMINSTER ABBEY
Come with us to see the famous Royal Chapels, where
English Monarchs have been buried since Saxon times! The
Abbey is our most important church and has been the site
of almost every coronation since 1066. Last seen by millions
world-wide at the funerals of Diana, Princess of Wales and
Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, it is here that we hold
most of our important State, Royal and Religious ceremonies
and celebrations. When services prohibit a visit inside
the Abbey we will visit the Chapter House instead.
CHANGING OF THE GUARD
AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE We alight near The Mall, and
either go to the London residence of Her Majesty the Queen,
Buckingham Palace, to see the Changing of the Foot Guard,
or to Horseguards Parade, to see the Changing of the Household
Cavalry. Both are wonderful, colourful spectacles and photographer¡¦s
paradise!
TRADITIONAL ENGLISH
PUB LUNCH AT THE ALBERT This distinguished pub has
survived the Blitz and 1960¡¦s redevelopment.
It was built in 1864, named in honour of Queen Victoria¡¦s
husband, the Prince Consort. On the walls hang portraits
of British Prime Ministers, from Salisbury, to an autographed
one of Tony Blair. Members of Parliament often dine here
and for their convenience a division bell is installed.

TOWER OF LONDON &
THE CROWN JEWELS Quite simply the most impressive
medieval fortress in Britain! The White Tower was built
by William the Conqueror, back in 1078. Since then, it has
seen the execution of three Queens of England and the torture
of numerous prisoners, it has also been a zoo, a mint and
most importantly a royal palace. Today you can see the Beefeaters,
learn the legend of the ravens and marvel at the magnificent
Crown Jewels.
ANCIENT CITY OF LONDON
The City is the oldest part of London and contains most
of our main financial and legal institutions. There¡¦s
so much to see it¡¦s almost breathtaking! We
will see many famous buildings, old and new, and hear about
the famous Fire of London, the plagues, the origins of London,
its people and so much more.
ST PAUL¡¦S
CATHEDRAL This magnificent church is the masterpiece
of Sir Christopher Wren. Completed in 1710 after just 35
years, it is today the seat of the Bishop of London. You
will have the opportunity to take photographs.
CRUISE ON THE RIVER
THAMES A delightful cruise along the Thames, gliding
smoothly through the heart of London where you will enjoy
some superb riverside views of our majestic buildings.
