Windsor Castle, high above the River Thames, has
been home to the Royal Family for 900 years. You will
have an opportunity to explore the magnificent State
Apartments*, still used on State occasions and for
royal receptions; St George’s Chapel, the burial
place of many kings and queens, and the home of our
senior order of chivalry, the Order of the Garter.
Departing Windsor en route to London your tour drives
via Runnymede where King John sealed the Magna Carta
and where there is a memorial to John F. Kennedy.
Afternoon tea is served in Windsor, before the short
drive back to London.
* Occasionally the State Apartments
are closed on these occasions and if so, a 10% discount
will be offered.
