This amazing building is one of the few working royal palaces in the world today. Its 19 State Rooms form the heart of the working palace and are open for just eight weeks a year. Lavishly furnished, they house some of the finest treasures from the Royal Collection.

Buckingham Palace’s garden has been described as a “walled oasis in the middle of London”.

Best known as the setting for the Queen's summer garden parties and the spectacular Golden Jubilee Concerts, visitors to the Summer Opening end their Tour with a walk along the south side of the garden, which affords splendid views of the west front of the palace and the famous lake.

Admission includes entrance to a special exhibition “Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother’s White Wardrobe and the 1938 State Visit to France” and an audio tour - available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese.
