DOVER
Dover’s famous White Cliffs play a significant part in England’s rich and fascinating history. Admire the spectacular view from the castle, which stands 400ft above sea level and dates back to the 12th century.

CANTERBURY
Since St Augustine’s arrival in 597, Canterbury has been the centre of English Christianity. This fascinating and medieval city with its magnificent cathedral, dates from the 11th century and is the seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury, and contains royal tombs and beautiful 13th Century stained glass, a splendid example of medieval architecture. The gruesome murder of Thomas A Becket took place here in 1170.

LEEDS CASTLE
Take advantage of a private visit to Leeds Castle before it opens to the public.

The castle - built on two islands in a lake, with its magnificent gardens - has been called “the loveliest castle in the world,” and when you see if for yourself, we think you’ll agree.

Edward I made it a Royal Palace for his wife. Nearly 800 years later it contains a superb collection of medieval furnishings, tapestries and impressionist art as well as delightful gardens.

Greenwich
We drive by the Royal Naval College, National Maritime Museum and the ‘Cutty Sark’. Then  we cross the zero meridian line near the Royal Observatory from longitude West to longitude East.

Cream Tea
Complete your tour by indulging in the very English tradition of cream tea in Fairfax Hall, a 17th century tithe barn.
