Day 1
We depart in the morning, escorted by our guide with the day tour clients.

STONEHENGE
Stonehenge is one of the most awe-inspiring and famous landmarks in the world. Walk among the towering 4,000 year-old columns on Salisbury Plain and cast your mind back over four millennia.

On to another location that enjoys a rich history too: Bath. One of England’s most elegant cities, it was constructed in a natural amphitheatre of steep hills.

With its magnificent Georgian architecture, terraces, crescents and squares, Bath was voted a World Heritage Site in 1987.

Visit the Roman Baths, Museum and Bath Abbey before you check into your hotel.

The rest of the evening is yours to explore.

SALISBURY
Probably the finest medieval Cathedral in Britain; with the tallest spire (123m/404ft), the best preserved Magna Carta (1215AD), a unique 13th century frieze of bible stories in the octagonal Chapter House, the largest Cloisters and Cathedral Close in Britain and Europe's oldest working clock (1386AD).

Choristers sing daily services, continuing a tradition of worship that goes back nearly 800 years.

Tower tours most days. Open every day of the year.

THE CITY OF BATH
The first English city to be designated a World heritage site, a panoramic drive around the Bath will demonstrate why, revealing a masterpiece of 18th century vision and city planning.

The glorious and spectacular city of Bath - with its classic Georgian terraces and elegant crescents that seem to sweep down to the steep slopes of the River Avon - owes its history to the hot spring water that gave the city its name. Rising from 3km underground and gushing forth at a constant temperature of 46c, this unique resource still flows through the ruins of the magnificent temple and bath-house built by the Romans nearly 2,000 years ago.

There is time for you to explore the "lantern of the West" and Pulteney Bridge.

Your guide then drops you off at your hotel for you to enjoy an evening in Bath.

DAY 2
Take in the sights at your own pace before you are collected late in the afternoon by your guide for your return journey to London.

All hotel rooms have private facilities.

This Tour is unescorted from the time you check-in at your hotel until collection the next day.
