Train departs at 6.28am arriving in Oxenholme at 10.10am LAKE WINDERMERE - On arrival, you will be met by a local guide and taken to Bowness to visit the World of Beatrix Potter. Here you will have time to shop and have lunch on the shores of Lake Windermere. After lunch you will visit Hilltop, the home of Beatrix Potter. You will be taken on a 35 minute cruise on Coniston Water. After the cruise we drive through Yewsdale, Langdale Valley and Grassmere, passing Dove Cottage, the home of William Wordsworth. The last part of our journey will take us through Rydal and Ambleside. You will arrive back in London at 10.15pm. 100% cancellation charges apply to this tour. This tour is unescorted.
