WELCOME - Arrive at Euston Station at 6am. Meet the Golden Tours representative by the Ticket Office. He will check you in ans escort you to your pre-reserved seats. Train departs at 6.28am arriving in Oxenholme at 10.10am
LAKE WINDERMERE - On arrival, you will be met by a local guide and taken to Bowness to visit the World of Beatrix Potter. Here you will have time to shop and have lunch on the shores of Lake Windermere. After lunch you will visit Hilltop, the home of Beatrix Potter. You will be taken on a 35 minute cruise on Coniston Water. After the cruise we drive through Yewsdale, Langdale Valley and Grassmere, passing Dove Cottage, the home of William Wordsworth. The last part of our journey will take us through Rydal and Ambleside.
DAY 2 - One night's accommodation is included with a superior class hotel (plus continental breakfast). Today you are on your own for further sightseeing.
You
will arrive back in London at 10.15pm
Clients will have to make their own way to Oxenholme for their return journey.
